Ngā Kura

Te Ataarangi ki Tāmaki Makaurau currently offers kura in two regions of Auckland — Tāmaki ki raro (North Shore and Silverdale) and Tāmaki ki runga (Manukau and Mangere). These kura are run in a supportive whānau environment where learners can grow in their reo Māori journey. While they are not community classes as such, we are exploring the development of these types of classes in the future.
To become a student with us, you should be currently residing within the Tāmaki Makaurau region and that you also become a member of Te Ataarangi at a cost of $25. This small contribution helps us to continue running classes, provide resources (LMS, online mini courses) and an entitlement to attend all wānanga reo/hui that TAKTM kōmiti organise, including Pokapū, monthly committee hui, and the Hui-a-rohe, Hui Whānui. Your membership not only supports the kaupapa but also connects you as part of the wider Te Ataarangi whānau. More details about class times and enrolment will be shared directly once you register and we make contact with you.
